Adult Forums in October

October 1- Tyson Sprandel of Safe Harbor discusses the work of our Mission of the Month.

October 8 – Dr. James Pain, Pfeiffer Professor of Religion and formerly Dean of the Casperson School of Graduate Studies at Drew University, will discuss Orthodox Spirituality through the icon “Holy Trinity” or “Hospitality of Abraham.”

October 15 – Jeff Lewis, Eastern Manager of the Verdin Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, will demonstrate the Concerto Digital Carillon 720T like the unit that is being made for Trinity Church as a gift in memory of Michael Motsek. (The unit will be demonstrated after the 10:30 liturgy as well, weather permitting, outdoors.)

October 22 – Speaker: David Rose, Lehigh Valley Friends (Quaker) Meeting – “A Weekend of Faith & Action on the Death Penalty.” A discussion of the current use of the death penalty in Pennsylvania and in the US and the work of Christian churches to abolish it.

October 29 – “Voices of Young Adults: Listening to twenty-somethings talk about the Church.” Video and discussion.
